Brighton's digital media agency, Bite Studio were elated to see their work featured on the BBC's flagship technology programme Click Online! The highly regarded programme featured noostar.com as its lead story, when showcasing the best sites on the web. The site was commended for its "diversity of talent...[including]...very good but little-known and unsigned music acts hoping to be discovered".
Noorstar.com is the UK's largest online talent site, designed and developed by Bite Studio, in association with Graham Norton's production company, So Television and user experience experts CogApp.
The revolutionary site was founded in 2007 with the intention of showcasing performers from around the world. The brainchild of Graham Stuart and Alex Morrison, who called on Bite Studio's services to lead the development of the site.
Noostar aims to expose and promote new talent of every form, from singing, dancing, and comedy all the way to parkour, beat boxing and fire-eating. Allowing users to create their own profile, write blogs and upload videos self-promoting their talent to gain exposure on a global scale. Users can share their videos with friends, family and other web users through other social networking sites such as Facebook in order to receive votes and move up the noostar charts.
Working in close partnership with So Television and CogApp, Bite Studio's talented team utilised their arsenal of digital media weaponry to build and design the highly scalable website which uses cutting edge cloud computing technology. The user interface was designed by Bite with simplicity in mind, enabling account holders to promote themselves with a minimal amount of effort. News feeds and email alerts ensure members are kept in the know and the technology used means a truly digital fan base can thrive.
